ROME WALKING TOURS
curated by Sfizio
Explore Rome with three curated walking routes designed by Leonardo, fourth-generation owner of Sfizio.
Sfizio has been part of the neighborhood around Termini Station for generations.
Every day, we welcome people from all over the world, but our connection to the local community remains at the heart of what we do.
Over the years, we have built relationships with organizations working in the area to support people facing difficult circumstances and to promote access to good food, inclusion, and community wellbeing.
Mamma Termini is a network of volunteers supporting vulnerable people in the area around Rome’s main railway station.
Every Sunday evening, we prepare a large pot of hot food that their volunteers distribute to those in need. From time to time, we also donate clothing, which is collected and redistributed through their network.
Together with Slow Food Roma, Nonna Roma, and Slow Social Market, we contribute weekly donations of staple foods such as pasta, eggs, canned tomatoes, and tuna.
We also occasionally donate high-quality products sourced from our suppliers, supporting projects that place value not only on access to food, but also on the quality and origin of what people eat.
In collaboration with Banca dei Talenti and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, we provide food donations every Friday evening.
Volunteers distribute the meals throughout the area surrounding Termini Station, reaching people who may need support and assistance.
We are grateful to work alongside people and organizations that dedicate their time and energy to supporting the community, and we are proud to contribute in the ways we can.
